If you’ve never run 26.2 miles in one stretch, you probably don’t think you can do it. Oprah, Will Ferrell and Alicia Keys have done it, and so can you! Sticking to a training schedule is key if you want to decrease the chance of getting injured and increase the chance of feeling decent when you cross the finish line. Gradually, you’ll build the stamina and confidence to run a marathon. Take it from Al Gore; he ran a marathon in the middle of his vice presidency. So no excuses. You got this!
